Performing at the China Concert

English singer, dancer and actress Sarah Brightman got an early start on her career, beginning with childhood ballet lessons and progressing to disco-friendly dance hits as a teenager before her theatrical debut in the original London cast of "Cats" in 1981. Her professional and personal relationship with composer Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber culminated in her starring role in "The Phantom of the Opera." After divorcing in 1990, Brightman emerged as a solo recording artist bridging classical and pop, amassing over 150 Gold and Platinum awards in 34 countries.
