Performing at the Germany Concert

Hailing from the German town of Bautzen, Silbermond are a power-punk quartet whose sound is rooted in bands such as Green Day. Lead singer Stefanie Kloss' voice shows traces of PJ Harvey and Chrissie Hynde. Their debut record, "Verschwende deine Zeit," went double-platinum in Germany and Austria on the strength of the top 5 single, "Symphonie." Their latest offering, 2006's "Laut Gedacht," debuted at No. 1 in Germany, and one of the singles from the record, "Das Beste," also topped the charts.
