Performing at the US Concert
One of the leading lights of American emo, Taking Back Sunday's heavy-yet-tuneful songs are the kind
you hear in teen movie soundtracks, poppy yet tinged with melancholy, and fueled
by loud, overdriven guitars. Since emerging from Amityville, Long Island in
2000, they've become a mainstay of the emo scene, with records such as 2004's
"Where You Want to Be" and last year's "Louder Now." This summer they'll be
performing as part of the Projekt Revolution tour, alongside Linkin Park, Placebo, and My Chemical Romance.
